he Fat Loss Factor is a weight loss plan developed by Dr. Michael Allen with help from his wife Lori.

Dr. Allen has used his system in his clinic and has had great success teaching people how to effectively lose weight and develop a healthy lifestyle that will keep the weight off forever. His wife Lori is also a successful veteran of his plan.

Fat Loss Essentials

There are two stages of the 12 week Fat Loss Factor weight loss plan.

Detox

The first two weeks are devoted to detox. Dr. Allen believes that in order for the body to begin to correctly process fat again, the liver needs to be cleansed.

During this stage the dieter eats organic fruit, organic vegetables, raw nuts, raw seeds, legumes, coconut and olive oils and drinks only spring or reverse osmosis water. Meat, dairy, sugar and artificial sweeteners are to be avoided.

If dieters are after extreme weight loss, Dr. Allen recommends dieters follow the Master Cleanser program for 3 days of the two week detox phase.

"Lifestyle Un-diet"

The next 10 weeks of the Fat Loss Factor are designed to break the dieter out of the "diet mentality" and instead reinforce healthy eating habits along with choosing healthier food options that will help them feel satisfied with smaller portions and aid in the fat burning process.

The Fat loss Factor includes many tools and resources to help the dieter be successful such as grocery lists, exercise demonstrations, fast food restaurant healthy option lists, and 1 year of personal email coaching from the Dr. Allen team.

Sample Flat Belly Meal Plan

Breakfast

Morning Snack
2 tablespoons almond butter

Lunch
Chicken Caesar wrap

Afternoon Snack
Raw carrots and hummus

Nutritional and Weight Loss Plan Guidelines

Commit to consuming 4 - 6 small meals and snacks everyday.

To succeed, you must plan ahead by packing your foods the night before. Thus, you should always have fresh and low-fat foods around.

Keep it simple. Don't get too caught up on the specifics or your diet. Start by simply just counting calories.

Eat your foods slower.

Make healthier food selections like fruits, vegetables, whole grain cereals, and beans, low-fat or nonfat dairy products, low fat meats, fish and skinless poultry.

Avoid foods that are high in fat and calories.

Avoid foods that are high in sugars such as pastries, candy bars, pies and candy.

Use a variety of fruits and vegetables in your nutrition plan. Start by trying to eat 5 total vegetable and fruit servings every single day.
Here is a sample weight loss plan (1400 calories).
